IRON WARS RELEASE DATE SERIES

While we get Cheadle leading his series, another series for the platform will be Ironheart. Those projects, Iron Heart and Armor Wars, were announced as Disney+ series. With no cancellation for Armor Wars, we will get two projects that honor the memory of Tony Stark and his tech. Secondly, it is described that the protagonist will see “what happens when Tony Stark’s tech falls into the wrong hands.” All we know is that one, the Armor Wars cancellation is not true. The source material was a seven-issue Iron Man story written by David Michelinie and Bob Layton, with art by Mark D. It is uncertain how much the series will take from the comic of the same name.

Don Cheadle will lead the Disney Plus series as he reprises his role as War Machine, who was confirmed to star next to Samuel L. “I promise it is still coming out,” was written on a black screen on the writer’s Instagram story about the Armor Wars cancellation rumor. Writer Yassir Lester took to his Instagram stories (as reported by CBR) to stamp out what people were saying and confirm that it was still happening. One series we did not see anything about was Armor Wars, causing a rumor of its cancellation. It focused on the highly advanced technology of Iron Man falling into the wrong hands.Īs of now, Armor Wars does not have a release date or director attached to the project.Marvel unleashed its plans for its next two Phases, giving fans a look at the Multiverse Saga, two Avengers movies, standalone films, sequels, and plenty of Disney Plus shows. The title of the series was inspirited by a storyline in the Iron Man comics from 19 by writers David Michelinie and Bob Layton and artist Mark Bright. Both Lester and Cheadle remain on board the project. The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Marvel Studios is developing Armor Wars as a feature film instead of a Disney+ series.
Lester and leading man, Don Cheadle, assured fans it was coming, though, and now it appears we might have a reason as to why the project is moving so slowly. The project was to be made into a Disney+ series, however, outside of Yassir Lester being announced as the head writer, very little news seemed to surface regarding the project. Ever since it was officially announced, fans have eagerly been awaiting news regarding Marvel Studios’ Armor Wars.
